“In just a day I had the first ideas for the concept and the melodies for the verses and the chorus,” Aivo shares. “Once I sent them to Teemu, we started building the song together step by step — polishing the lyrics, shaping the melody, and finding the emotional core.”
“Walking Out” tells the story of breaking free from emotionally harmful relationships — when love stops being a source of safety and becomes a weight you can no longer carry. It’s a song about the courage to say enough, to walk away, and to choose yourself instead of living in someone else’s pain or playing the role of a constant “rescuer.”

The music video, created with director Kaspars Dvinskis (Dween), was inspired by a spontaneous visit to a potential filming location — the Jūrmala motorcycle club “Hell’s Station.” Aivo recalls: “The name and the gritty environment instantly clicked with the mood of the song. I knew I didn’t fit there in my polished, clean image — because hell isn’t about perfection, it’s about truth. That’s where the idea for the janitor character came from: someone working in the club, carrying their own emotional story.”
“The janitor became a metaphor for the effort and emotional labour I once put into relationships. I’ve known what it feels like to be responsible for someone else’s emotional balance, to ‘clean up’ what I didn’t break. With time, it became clear that neither love nor effort could fix it — the only way forward was to walk away from the darkness. Playing this role felt natural, and it allowed me to express the heart of the song in the most honest way,” Aivo adds.

Preparations for the Supernova 2026 performance are currently in full swing. “I want it to be powerful, sincere, and emotionally real. I’m giving everything I can. The rest is up to the viewers,” says Aivo.
