The spotlight is on the talented singer and songwriter Alec Benjamin, who has won hearts with hits like "Let Me Down Slowly" and "The Book of You & I." He is embarking on a European tour, with a performance scheduled at the Palladium Riga concert hall on April 8th next year.

Tickets will go on sale starting September 13th at 10:00 AM via the "Biļešu Serviss" network. The American singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin's journey began when he traveled across Europe with his acoustic guitar, promoting his music by opening for already established artists in France and Germany. When he couldn’t get into concert halls, he would perform in parking lots near well-known artists' concerts to draw attention to himself. His healthy sense of humor, youthful voice, and unbroken tone charmed millions of listeners worldwide with songs like "Water Fountain," "Let Me Down Slowly," "End of the Summer," "I Built A Friend," and "Paper Crown."

Benjamin recorded his debut single "Paper Crown" in his student dorm room and released it in 2014. A few years later, songs like "The Water Fountain," "End of the Summer," and "I Built a Friend" followed. On November 16, 2018, the artist released the mixtape Narrated for You, featuring tracks like "If We Have Each Other," "Water Fountain," "Annabelle's Homework," and "Let Me Down Slowly," which brought him worldwide recognition.

In his concerts, Alec Benjamin performs with a backing rock band, plays acoustic guitar, sometimes also the piano, and entertains the audience between songs, engaging with them as if they were old friends. His healthy attitude toward life and his own creativity, paired with a disarming smile, always reminds us of a forgotten truth: nothing in the world should be taken too seriously or literally. "I never feel like I've reached the top, but rather the bottom, looking up," the artist humbly says.

His critically acclaimed debut album These Two Windows (Atlantic Records), released in May 2020, climbed to the 8th spot on the Billboard Top Albums chart. In the following years, two more albums were released – (Un)Commentary(2022, Elektra Records) and the latest 12 Notes (2024, Elektra Records), which will also be part of the tour that brings the artist to Riga.
