Singing is deeply connected to human nature, and its healing effect is hard to describe in just a few words. When a person sings, their voice creates vibrations that resonate with the surrounding world, allowing them to experience the full spectrum of emotions conveyed by the song's content and mood. This is evidenced by the cultural history of many nations. As we know, Latvians are also a singing nation, says Ingars Viļums.
"Zemes dziesma" will also be included in the duo's new album, "Manas zemes sirds", in which Antra Stafecka and Ingars Viļums promise to take listeners through their musical emotions and stories deeply rooted in Latvian culture and identity. The song was created with support from the LaIPA scholarship competition.
