While the song speaks about the relationship between musicians and listeners, the music video focuses on the collaboration between musicians and the recording producer.
The music video’s scriptwriter and director Klāvs Knuts Sukurs explains: "With exaggerated, even slightly grotesque scenes from work in the recording studio, I wanted to remind everyone of the age-old truth about musical taste differences, which is also the theme of the song itself. We’ve long known that tastes differ, but we continue to fight, argue, even brawl to prove that my taste is more tasteful than yours."
The main role in the video is played by actor Kaspars Zāle, with Kristaps Bērziņš as the lead cinematographer and Kilometre Film Works involved in the production. The single "Mūzikas izlase" is the first harbinger of the band's upcoming third album, set to be released next spring.
Listeners can expect this to be the band’s most energetic album yet, with the creative process involving several industry professionals from abroad, adding a slightly different vibe compared to their previous works.
The new song is available on all major streaming platforms, and its music video can be viewed on YouTube.
