“The atmosphere at the camp is creative, open, and friendly—but it’s also intense work, from morning to evening,” say the organizers. “Participants are divided into teams of three: one performer, one songwriter, and one producer. Their task is to create a complete song in a single day.”
Last year’s camp proved to be effective—three songs created there were submitted to Latvia’s Eurovision selection, including “Līgo” (The Ludvig), “Delusional” (Palú), and “Chemical” (Rūta Dūduma), which all made it to the Supernova 2025 semi-finalist list.
This year’s camp will again welcome international participants—in June, attendees came from Latvia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Ireland, the UK, and the USA. Such an environment is a valuable contribution to the development of Latvian music and offers local artists the opportunity to gain international experience and connections.
