The song is complemented by a video clip documenting the leisure activities of Riga residents over sixteen Sundays. The clip's director and "Carnival Youth" member Edgars Kaupers, who has now directed his second video for the band, reveals: “While studying directing, I wanted to create a documentary about freedom, but how do you capture it, where do you start? I decided to film people only on Sundays. You could say 'in free time'. After a few years, this song was born, and the filmed material naturally asked to be included. The clip is a collage, where by connecting unrelated shots, new meanings are formed, playing with the lyrics of the song in parallel.”
The music video is available on the band's YouTube channel!
On February 1, "Carnival Youth" invites listeners to a concert at Valmiera’s "Multiklubs" and fans in Lithuania to the "Tamsta" club in Vilnius on February 6. On March 8, the band will perform at Liepāja's cultural house "Wiktorija," which has already become a spring tradition. "For the third year in a row, we return to our beloved 'Wiktorija' in the spring. After a concert in Liepāja, it feels like the new season has truly begun!” reveals band member Emīls Kaupers.
Tickets are available on the band's website.
