The central idea of the song is learning to let go and not react to criticism, envy, or the negative influence of others. “Let Them” encourages believing in yourself, your dreams, and values, without allowing the outside world to dictate how to live “correctly” or “incorrectly.” Taking other people’s internal struggles or baseless judgments personally only consumes our most valuable and limited resource – time. Instead, we can invest this energy in our own growth, rather than fighting what we cannot control.

“We live in a time when it’s easier to watch other people’s lives than to experience our own. Social media often creates illusions that lead to comparisons and negativity. We wanted to show that the best way is simply to let them – let them – and live your life with faith in yourself,” the duet members share.

“Everyone makes mistakes, and some mistakes stay with us for life. But they do not define us. With this song, we want to remind people to believe in their values and that the good in a person is always stronger than the negative,” adds De Mantra.

The musical sound was created as a creative experiment without strict genre limitations. De Mantra’s music is characterized by a soulful and emotional pop sound, reflecting the inner world and feelings of both artists.

The song was created as a joint effort – both lyrics and music were written by the duet. Recording, mixing, and mastering were made in collaboration with producers Armands Varslavāns and Edgars Vilcāns.

The single is accompanied by a self-made video, with filming by Jānis Vācers and editing by Liene Leitāne.
