“This is the moment when I know who I am and where I want to be. Life is a carousel — with its dark spots and bright moments — but now I have a clear direction and vision,” says Deniss.

The album “Plejādes” blends more aggressive rap tracks with introspective stories and messages, inspired not only by his idol 50 Cent but also by his own life’s contrasts.
It’s a six-track story about inner balance, strength, and finding one’s place under the sun. The title is taken from the Taurus constellation – the Pleiades, where each star represents a person who has been part of the project.
“The album cover shows my Pleiades – my people. Ritvars Bluka, who helped with music videos; Maikls Bordovskis, who designed the cover; E.V. (Kārlis Pauls Šēnhofs) – my stage partner; Sudrabu Sirds (Deniss Jermakovs) – main co-author and executive producer; Silraq (Kārlis Dureika) – who’s featured on ‘Pasēdēt’; and Daniks Vesnenoks – my friend, to whom I dedicated ‘Pērkona dārdi’.
It’s an emotional story, remembering the moment in 2020 when he was seriously injured in Riga. Back then, emotions were too raw to write about it. Now that time has passed, I wanted to close that chapter and dedicate a real song to him,” Deniss reveals.
The idea for “Pasēdēt” came spontaneously one evening while preparing for a show in Lithuania:
“We were all hanging out in the apartment, and suddenly Silraq started singing: ‘Večuk, vai tu šodien negribi atnākt pasēdēt?’ (‘Buddy, don’t you want to come over and hang out today?’) We and Sudrabu instantly caught on to those words — and that’s how the song was born. It was such a genuine moment — warm, friendly, real music straight from life,” recalls Deniss.
A song born from a simple everyday moment became the symbol of the whole album — freedom, friendship, and the power of togetherness.
