The song “Skauj mani cieši” was created in collaboration with producer Rūdolfs Macats, who comments on the process: “It was a pleasure to work with Elizabete, who creates bright and love-filled music. She’s like the Latvian Taylor Swift and Bon Iver.”

“The song came to life one winter evening at the piano, where most of my songs or their foundations are created. This is definitely one of the most emotional stories and will undoubtedly be included in my upcoming album,” says Elizabete.

Elizabete Gaile is a Latvian indie pop singer and songwriter who often creates her music at the piano. Her song “Miera iela” became one of the most-played Latvian songs of 2023. Some of her standout moments include performing at the “Positivus” festival and serving as a special guest with her band at the “Astro’n’out” concert in “Arēna Rīga” at the end of 2023.

Currently, Elizabete is actively working on new music, aiming to release her debut album in the spring of next year.
