Andris Strazds, the lead vocalist of “Polifauna” and co-author of the song, shares insights about the creative process: “Together with Elza, we started jamming on the ‘Juno’ synthesizer sample prepared by Fiņķis at my countryside home until the chorus came to me. We realized that something could come of it. We rewrote and toyed with the recording in various ways, but in the end, we understood we needed to return to the initial feeling captured in the demo recording of the song.”
