The alternative mixed-genre music group "holiWuda" was founded in the summer of 2024. The group's main goal is to inspire people to believe in their dreams and not succumb to the pressure of naysayers. The group consists of two vocalists, Roberts Rūja and Kate Vīgante, and the music producer/beat-maker Krišjānis Rubenis.

This is the group's third song. The debut song "Dzīvi skaistāko" captivated the Latvian TikTok audience aged 18-25, with the most popular and recognizable phrases on TikTok being "bla bla bla" and "tra la la." In total, the song's video teasers on TikTok garnered more than 300,000 views. However, the song itself wasn't as much about the music as it was about storytelling. When HOUSE music genre producer Marks Matisons, known as MarkMate, offered to produce the song, it was clear that something needed to be created that would also resonate with radio listeners, which led to the creation of the song "Holivuda."
