“This year, the concert will feature special guests: the string quartet JUNO, adding a touch of classical music to the less-than-academic repertoire of Labvēlīgais Tips. Also joining is Kaspars Upaciers, aka Ufo, who will spark joy before the concert and during the intermission.”
The program will feature two parts, with a buffet break deemed essential “to ensure everyone can focus on maintaining their health in the right way.” In the first part of the show, the band will present a dynamic review of this year’s ups and downs in Latvia, while the second part—after the “focus break”—will invite the audience to forget about their seat numbers and fully immerse themselves in the festive spirit on the shared dance floor.
Celebrating the joy of life with everyone will be Andris Freidenfelds (vocals), Normunds Jakušonoks (vocals, keys), Ģirts Lūsis (vocals, guitar), Kaspars Tīmanis (vocals, trombone), Oskars Ozoliņš (trumpet, vocals), Artūrs Kutepovs (guitar), Pēteris Liepiņš (guitar), Haralds Stenclavs (keys), and Ainis Zavackis (drums).
It’s worth noting that before the New Year’s Eve show at Ķīpsala, the band hopes to warm up with performances of this concert program on December 26 at Lielais Dzintars in Liepāja, December 28 at the Latgale Embassy Gors in Rēzekne, and December 30 at the Vidzeme Concert Hall in Cēsis.
