"SNIEGums" is the tenth music album by "Latvian Voices", and its recording process took nearly two years. For this album, the group once again collaborated with Canadian producer Andrew Kesler, who resides in Los Angeles. Although widely known as a member of the a cappella group "Accent", Kesler is also a versatile, professional musician with significant achievements as a composer, arranger, and jazz musician in various projects in the USA.
The album's visual identity is based on a painting collaboratively created by the six members of the group in artist Laura Juhņeviča's studio. In the "Pūti, pūti, ziemelīti" video, this painting is “brought to life” through musical sounds. Laura Jēkabsone, while arranging the Latvian folk song, preserved the wintery melody's authenticity and atmosphere, daring to combine it with warm, southern rhythms. The video was created in close collaboration with the group’s long-time creative team: photographer Kaspars Teilāns and makeup artist Sanita Drīle.
"SNIEGums" was released during the week of Latvian Voices' 15th anniversary. Beāte Krūmiņa, the soprano of "Latvian Voices", says: “The group was formed during Advent, and it seems that this season of anticipation for the year’s brightest celebration suits us best. In the new album, we tell several unique Christmas stories, and we hope that our music will find its place in your holiday playlists as well.”
The new Latvian Voices CD can be streamed on all music platforms and is available for purchase at the latvianvoices.lvonline store.

The vocal group "Latvian Voices" is one of the few professional a cappella groups in the Baltic States. The group includes Laura Jēkabsone, Beāte Krūmiņa, Zane Stafecka, Paula Pērkone, Una Stade, and Jānis Strazdiņš. The core values of "Latvian Voices" are to bring Latvia's cultural heritage and folk songs into modern a cappella sound, create original a cappella music, share their musical experience through masterclasses, and represent Latvia on the global stage.
