After one of the musician's concerts in London, a delighted "The Guardian" music critic wrote: "Owen Pallett's performance tonight was intoxicating and dazzling, and when his latest compositions in krautrock aesthetics kicked in, it became surprisingly powerful."
“Despite how densely layered his violin and looped piano sounds were or how concise his chords sounded, Pallett managed to pinpoint exactly where the beauty lay within this sonic whirlwind. Even his seemingly boy-choir-like voice is reminiscent of a Disney prince—albeit one singing about drugs, depression, and fumbling in the darkness during late-night hours. Pallett’s music is challenging and invigorating, and there are few things in the world as beautiful as this!”
This autumn, after a long break, Owen Pallett is embarking on a longer European tour, during which he will visit Latvia for the first time, performing at the cultural venue "Hanzas Perons."
