Palaye Royale to Perform at Palladium Riga Concert Hall

A circus of madness and fashion rock 'n' roll—showmen Palaye Royale will return to the Palladium Riga concert hall for a performance on December 4th this year. The concert will feature special guests I See Stars and Huddy.

After a well-received and highly praised performance by the band last spring, the fashion-art rock group will return to Palladium Riga to perform songs from their acclaimed 2022 album Fever Dream as well as from their upcoming album Death or Glory, which is set to be released in August.

The band describes the new album as "that moment of uncertainty, when you're falling and don't know if you'll end up flying or crashing," adding that "it’s where chaos meets harmony, the struggle between ego and self-destruction, success and despair, and ultimately death and glory."

Palaye Royale is a Canadian-American rock band from Las Vegas, formed in 2008 by three brothers—Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig, and Emerson Barrett. Over the course of their musical career, the band has amassed more than half a billion streams on music platforms and has gained a cult following thanks to the adrenaline-fueled rock 'n' roll circus they deliver in their performances. Shortly after their formation, Palaye Royale toured the world with artists such as Yungblud, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Korn, and many others. They are known for their unforgettable, high-energy live shows, with frontman Remington often climbing stage structures near the venue's ceiling.

Palaye Royale released their debut single, Morning Light, in March 2012. In 2014, they became the first unsigned band to win MTV's Musical March Madness tournament, beating out artists like Linkin Park. Their first full-length album, Boom Boom Room (Side A), was released in 2016, and its single Get Higher reached number 26 on the Billboard Modern Rock Charts. This was followed by the albums Boom Boom Room (Side B) (2018) and The Bastards (2020). Some songs from the band’s latest work, Fever Dream, have already been released, with the full album expected this fall. In an unexpected but favorable twist, Fever Dream was created during a break in the chaos of the world, with the band returning to their musical roots. As a result, it is considered their boldest and most visionary work to date. Their newest album, Death or Glory, is set to be released at the end of August.

Whether Palaye Royale takes the stage at major festivals like Reading and Leeds, Download, and Pinkpop, or plays sold-out shows in faraway places like Tokyo, London, Prague, and Mexico City, the band's most important goal is to maintain a connection with their fans. "When we performed at our first concerts, we would stand outside the venues and hug every fan who came to see us," says Emerson. "Even now, we still do everything we can to make a personal connection with the fans who come to see us, no matter how big the crowd is."
