The song’s producer DJ Rudd adds: “I met Roberts thanks to Aminata. He brought me the song, and my task was to create the right arrangement for it. I’m happy that new vocalists are emerging in Latvia. We have many experienced male soloists, but in recent years young ones have been rare on the Latvian music scene.”
In collaboration with Windfilms directors Juris Gogulis and Jānis Romanovskis, the music video for “Es palikšu te” was created. They share: “We are glad to be part of the making of the first song by a new and promising Latvian musician. We felt his youthful maximalism, and in the video we tried to capture raw emotions typical of first love—moments when everything is clear, but also when your head spins and focus is lost.”
