st4rface Releases a New Track "Pilsēta Guļ"

On January 8, st4rface, a local Latvian artist, released his new track and music video titled "Pilsēta guļ" (The City Sleeps). The artist shared that the song reflects personal struggles, stating, "I’m quite sure that each of us has our own type of demons that make life difficult every day.

People fight them in different ways—some talk about these demons, others stay silent. I, too, encounter various feelings that haunt and disturb me daily. These are my demons. I am sure many listeners will relate to the song personally and feel a connection with it."

The music video carries a dark, nighttime atmosphere, symbolizing the internal struggles we face. The events depicted reflect the battle between a person and their demons.

st4rface also explained the process of creating the video, saying, "This time it was especially unique and interesting because, for the first time, I planned everything myself. The script and ideas for the video were not something I had done before, but I felt that I wanted this project to be very personal. I am grateful to everyone who helped with the project because I couldn't have done it alone. I hope my message reaches the right audience. Whatever demons we face, we must continue to fight them."

This track marks the beginning of a new chapter in st4rface's discography. "Pilsēta guļ" will be featured on his upcoming second studio album, set for release in April this year.

The artist is known for previous hits like "Viņa" and "Man nevajag vēl vienu piedod" (I Don’t Need Another Forgiveness). He has also collaborated with other notable local artists like Raum, Punkts Uz I, Trench Mafia Locco, Grafomāns, and more.
