The upcoming concert at Arena Riga is a long-awaited event. The band’s musicians say: “It has been a long time since our last concert, and we’ve built up a reservoir of emotions that will raise the roof of the entire arena. This will be the biggest Sudden Lights concert not only in scale but also in emotional intensity. We’ll perform songs from our upcoming album along with the most notable tracks from our previous records. Light has been a guiding motif in all our work, and we will celebrate this light on the eve of Latvia’s Independence Day at Arena Riga.”
In collaboration with Spilva, the song “Eldorado” has also been accompanied by a music video, continuing the cinematic series of music videos for Sudden Lights’ albums. Shot on 16mm film, the video was directed by Edgars Haritončenko, who explains the concept:
“Sometimes, we lack the courage to step outside the ordinary, to play, to be lighthearted, in order to face serious matters. Just as every child needs an adult to support, encourage, and bring hope, adults too need support to nurture their inner child.
Even something seemingly trivial, like clothing, can require great courage. It’s not the dress itself that provides strength but the bravery to wear it. The courage to defy societal norms allows one to feel empowered and inspire others.”
