The “Supernova 2026” semifinalists have been announced

The jury of the Latvian Public Media (LSM) song contest “Supernova” has selected 24 participants for the semifinals. They will compete in the live broadcasts on January 31 and February 7, 2026, for a place in the final.
The contest winner, determined by both the jury and viewers during the final vote on February 14, will earn the chance to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, this May.

The artists who qualified for the semifinals are:

Agnesse with “Oh My My”, Aivo Oskis with “Walking Out”, Antra Stafecka with “Divejāda”, Atvara with “Ēnā”, Blurie with “Lovin' Always Gets Me Down”, Daba with “Panic Attack”, De Mantra with “Let Them”, Edvards Strazdiņš with “I Ain't Got The Guts”, ELPO with “Blakus”, Emilija with “All We Ever Had”, Honey Blue with “Blue Disco”, and Ivo Grīsniņš-Grīslis with “Home”.

Also selected:

Jānis Rugājs with “Smoke”, Kautkaili with “Te un tagad”, Krisy with “Take It”, Kristīne Megija with “Insanity”, Legzdina with “Ribbon”, Miks Galvanovskis with “Cruel Angel”, Nolark with “Different Places”, Papīra lidmašīnas with “You're My Saviour”, Paula with “Dejot vien”, Robert Ox with “Ravin' At The Taj Mahal”, Tikasha Sakama with “#010126 CODA”, and Vēstnieks with “Vai tas ir kāds brīnums?”.

All semifinal songs will be available for listening from December 4 this year on supernova.lsm.lv and the Supernova YouTube channel.
