The festival will feature a diverse music program on the "Strūklakas" stage from 12:00 PM, showcasing traditional music from various Latvian regions as well as contemporary influences. Performers include folklore groups such as "Tarkšķi" from Iecava, "Ceiruleits" from Līvāni, "Skandinieki", and the hosts "Garataka" from Rīga. Additionally, musical ensembles that blend traditional sounds with world music rhythms, like "Trio Bille", vocal trio "Kalme", and special guests from Finland "Melkutus Party", will perform.

From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, festival-goers can participate in various creative activities in specially designed tents. These include hands-on experiences with traditional musical instruments, exploring the essence of masking traditions, crafting personal masks, and learning about Ūsiņdiena and Pentecost traditions in an informal setting. There will also be games to delight both children and adults.

Meaningful and thought-provoking discussions will take place from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the "Strelka" hall at Fantadroms. Folklore researcher and musician Aīda Rancāne will lead workshops exploring topics such as "Traditional Festivals and Modern Times", "Interpretation, Stylization, Deformation", and "Authenticity and Simulacra" in the context of folklore.

The evening will feature a grand concert titled "My Sources of Inspiration". Artistic director Asnate Rancāne explains that the name reflects the desire to showcase the richness of folklore and its music, demonstrating how it inspires and becomes an essential part of daily life. Through the performers' sources of inspiration—nature, community, research, music, and national identity—the concert will reveal the diverse inspirations people find in folklore.

The grand concert will present selected traditional music pieces—virtuoso compositions, ancient melodies, and performances created specifically for this festival. The festival will conclude with traditional dances led by the beloved post-folklore group "Iļģi". This year, the dances will take place outdoors, allowing everyone to enjoy the warm spring evening and experience the charm of traditional dances.

The festival will also feature a market where many producers, craftsmen, and artisans offer their products created within family businesses. Throughout the festival, visitors' comfort will be considered, with delicious food and drinks available for every taste. The market will offer a variety of handmade crafts, jewelry, clothing, games, and treats.

Admission to the grand concert is by invitation, which can be obtained from KTMC "Ritums" starting May 6, 2025.

The festival is supported by the Rīga Municipality and organized by the Cultural and Folk Art Center "Ritums" and the folklore group "Garataka".
