The ethno-pop music group Tautumeitas combines Latvian folk melodies and lyrics with modern beats, creating a powerful Latvian sound. The group expresses itself creatively by designing its visual style, where costumes and crowns reflect both traditional and futuristic values. Many of the members have studied ethnomusicology, bringing influences from different folk traditions into their music.

Their debut album "Tautumeitas" won the Golden Microphone award for Best Folk/World Music Album in 2018, while their 2020 album "Dziesmas no Aulejas" received the same award. The band has performed not only in Latvia but also in China, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, Australia, Germany, France, and Poland.

The song "Bur man laimi" encourages listeners to discover their inner strength, recognize their self-worth, and protect themselves from negativity. It inspires belief in dreams and the courage to follow one's path, even when happiness is accompanied by challenges.
The Supernova winner was determined by a combination of jury and public votes. Detailed voting results, including jury rankings and audience scores, will be published by LTV soon. The jury panel members will be revealed in May, after the Eurovision Song Contest concludes.
