The band’s lead vocalist Jānis Aišpurs shares his thoughts about the creation process and current events:
“Speaking about the lyrics — I only have one thought in mind: to get ready for the Palladium concert, to keep writing songs for the new album, and to summon the next summer faster, when something very special awaits the band. Okay, that’s three thoughts, but in a way, they’re all one and the same — about the joy of anticipation, the happiness of reuniting. That’s exactly what our new song is about — it’s literally charged with these positive emotions. I hope you enjoy it, my friend! See you soon!”

The band’s work on the new album is intense, creative, and full of inspiration. Continuing their collaboration with Estonian musician and producer Erki Pärnoja, The Sound Poets are experimenting with a fresh and evolving sound. Each new single release is an exciting moment — to share their creation with listeners and see how it takes on a life of its own.
The single “Tu manī ugunis dedz” will have its live debut very soon — on November 7, during The Sound Poets’ special concert at Palladium Riga, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album “Pulsē”.
