At 4:00 PM, the discussion “Conquering the International Creative Market” will bring together representatives from the film “Straume” and the company “Sonarworks” to explore how local ideas can be transformed into global export success stories. At 4:30 PM, song listening and the awards ceremony will begin. The hackathon will conclude at 5:00 PM.
Throughout the day, visitors are also invited to explore interactive activities where music technology meets sound:
Erica Synths – analog synthesizers;
Rock Distribution – the chance to create your first “beat” in collaboration with Arturia;
Music Centre – introduction to electronic drums;
Robo School – singing robots, talking pegs, and an interactive floor;
Beetroot Labs – game zone in the Zeeverse universe;
Zvaigznāja klase – digital music technologies.
The Song Hackathon is taking place in Latvia for the third time and is organized by Agnese Rakovska’s creative agency “Zvaigznājs,” which introduces digital technologies into the Latvian education system using innovative methods and offers professional development courses for music teachers looking to integrate creative and modern tools into their daily teaching.
Photography and filming will take place during the event. The materials will be used to reflect and promote the event on the organizer’s website, social media, and press releases.
